Visit to Didcot Railway Centre – inc private tour of engine shed

Roger Melton has arranged a guided tour of the engineering workshops and the new-build County project locomotive by his friend 'Dicky' on Sat 23 March.  The plan is to meet up outside the main entrance to the railway centre at 10am.  The cost of entry to the whole site will be around £6 depending on age! If you are interested in attending, I suggest that you give Roger a call on 01980-610058 so that he has an idea who will be turning up on the day.  According to the centre's website, there is ample parking nearby (charge applies) and the entrance is through the ticket hall and subway of Didcot Parkway railway station.  SATNAV code is OX11 7NJ - follow the brown tourist signs.
